    Project Outline

    Introduction
    (Curriculum Context - Background Information)

In Grade 9 history, the world wars are core content.

This activity may be used to impress on the students the reality of signing up for war with the implied dangers that are associated with it.

    General Goals
    (Why are we doing this?)

To convey the issue of conscription vs volunteering.

To convey the difficulty of convincing people to volunteer for the armed forces when their lives will truely be on the line.

To allow students to use Presentations software as a medium for presenting material.
