Ms. Connell's grade 9-4 and 9-5 Language Arts students at Birchwood completed a series of Media and Communications Learning Stations in the Birchwood Library Resource Centre. The objectives of the "Be An Adbuster!" station were to critically imagine tobacco advertisements that currently appear in the media and to design or rework an advertisement to show the truth about tobacco smoking.
