Honors Band

A number of our students participate in the Honors Band.

The PEI Junior High School Honor's Band is an annual event that brings together students in grade nine from schools all across Prince Edward Island. This event has been in place for over 17 years and the band has reached numbers of over 120 students.

The philosophy of the Honor's Band is to provide students with a weekend of enrichment in instrumental music. It is designed for students who have a strong interest in music to meet other students with that desire for music and place them in a co-operative learning environment.

The dates for this year's Honor's Band will be held from January 26-28. Two public performances will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, January 28, at the Confederation Center of the Arts in Charlottetown and at 7:00pm at the Jubilee Theatre in Summerside.
