all the known elements in an informative arrangement. To learn more about

Festive Family Favorites
To demonstrate their knowledge and to put their HTML programming skills to use,
Ms. Squire's grade 9 Computer Technology students created web pages of their
favorite Christmas recipes. The web page had to include a title and recipe, at
least one seasonal graphic, and a festive background. Visit the "Christmas
Recipes" or click the gingerbread cookie and it'll take you there! Enjoy the
goodies!

The Elimination of Racism, Discrimination, Verbal Abuse and Bullying
An outstanding National SchoolNet GrassRoots project created by the students in
Ms. Squire's 9-5 and 9-6 Language Arts classes (2003-2004). This site features
student poetry, artwork, an audio recording, animation, online resources for
teachers and students, interactive vocabulary and jigsaw puzzles and more.

Clothing Caught in Graveyard
A fantastic National SchoolNet GrassRoots project created by the students in Ms.
Squire's 8-5 and 8-6 Language Arts classes (2003-2004). This site features
folktales written by students, an art gallery, a guest storyteller page, a
digital video, personal responses, interactive games and more.
Lyddie Novel Study
A super National SchoolNet GrassRoots project created by the students in Ms.
Squire's 9-5 and 9-6 Language Arts classes (2003-2004). This site features
student-created team novel study reports, vocabulary enrichment quizzes,
interactive puzzles, online resources for students and teachers, and more.
The Truth About Smoking
Students wrote essays and created posters and web pages to present their views
about "The Truth About Smoking". These activities were part of the "Media and
Communications" multi-source thematic unit. It is hoped that the information
presented on this site by Ms. Squire's grade 9-5 (2004-2005) students will
inform and help individuals to make good choices for their own health and
well-being.
Stop Bullying Poetry Page
Grade 9-5 Language Arts (2004-2005) students in Ms. Squire's class completed a
"What's Fair?" multi-source thematic unit. Students wrote poetry and created web
pages related to the prevention and elimination of racism, discrimination,
verbal abuse, and bullying.
Our Favorite Christmas Carols
Students in Ms. Squire's grade 9 Computer Integration class (2004-2005) created
web pages of their favorite Christmas songs for you to enjoy.
