reporting of students’ progress is done on a cumulative basis rather than per
term. The parent portal on Students Achieve (SAS) will not be available until
Monday, December 12th. Because the marks are cumulative, any new marks entered
would change the mark on Term 1 Report Cards. Please have a discussion with your
son/daughter about this assessment period.
Christmas Break
Tuesday, December 20th will be the last day in 2011 before the Christmas Break.
The first day back for students in the New Year will be on Tuesday, January 3,

informative presentation.

The Christmas concert for Birchwood School will be held on December 15,
beginning at 7 pm. We will be having a variety of performers and performing

other surprises. All band students are required to wear "concert dress" (white
shirts, black pants, and black shoes). All band students need to be in the band
room by 6:30 on the evening on the concert. We will be accepting donations (good
will offerings) as part of our fundraising efforts for band at this concert. We
will also be having a 50/50 draw. Come and enjoy the sounds of Christmas!
