The Dead Mans Grave

One dark night a group of girls Sydney, Ashley, Samantha, and Janna, walked along the sidewalk and passed a graveyard. They were told by friends that someone had died in this graveyard two years before. Nobody knew how or why the person died, but the girls wanted to find out!

The girls dared Samantha to go to the graveyard and to put a knife though the dead man's grave.

Samantha went to the grave. She put the knife over her head and plunged it into the ground. Then she felt a tug on her pant leg. Samantha screamed with all her might.

The girls heard a scream from a distance and they all ran home.

In the morning after they woke up, there was no sign of Samantha. She had not returned. They went to the graveyard and found Samantha, dead with a knife though her pant leg.

Some say that Samantha was murderd by the dead man's ghost. Others say she died of fright. When she put the knife though her pant leg, she may have thought the dead man was out to get her.
