The Alaskan Giants

This is the history of the Alaskan Mountain. Many years ago there were 15 people going for an adventure. On the fourth day of their five day adventure there was an avalanche. All 15 members died and were buried in the mountain .

Three friends won a trip to those mountains. Their names were Jimmy, Ray, and Richie. All three of them had heard of the legend. The legend was that every February 6th the 15 people who had died would rise up from the dead and would turn into Alaskan giants. Jimmy was the only one that didn't believe in the legend. So Ray and Richie both dared Jimmy to go to the cemetery on February 6th where the 15 people were buried and to stick a pitchfork into the one of the graves. If Jimmy came back alive, they knew that the legend was not true, but if he didn't come back then legend was true.

Early in the morning on Febuary 6th Jimmy set off. When he finally got to the cemetery he stuck the pitchfork in one of the graves. It was still dark so he didn't notice that when he stuck the fork into the grave it caught on his snow pants. He tried running away but he couldn't. He panicked because he thought the Alaskan Giants were trying to kill him.

That morning Jimmy never came home. Do you think the legend of the Alasken Giants is true?
