The Graveyard Wager

Hello my name is Alice MacDonald and I am going to tell you a story that I heard from a friend of mine. Anyway, my friend once knew this girl Samantha Thomas. She was a very popular person. I heard that almost everyone was friends with her. One day at lunch a guy from the ninth grade came up to her and asked her if she wanted to go to his party on Saturday. Of course, Samantha agreed to go and the guy said that he couldn't wait to see her there.

The night of the party Samantha arrived at the guy's house wearing her brand new pair of flare pants. About two hours into the party everyone started playing Truth or Dare. When it was Samantha's turn she was dared to go to the graveyard by the boy's house and stick a steak knife into one of the graves in the middle of the graveyard, and, of course, Samantha agreed.

Samantha headed off towards the old graveyard. Everyone followed close behind. Everyone stood watching at the fence, but as she started walking into the old graveyard she couldn't be seen through the dakness.

After about 10 minutes of waiting, they heard a scream. Everyone ran into the graveyard and split up to look for her. When they found her, it looked like she had been petrified to death. They called the police right away.

Samantha's friends told the police their theory of what happened to Samantha. The police agreed with the kids and they believed their theory. Their theory was that the steak knife had caught Samantha's flare pant leg and she had been scared to death that something or someone was holding her back from getting away.
