The Curse of Ms. Claw

This isn't your typical once upon a time story. This is a story that has been passed down through many people and has puzzeled all who've heard it about it's truth. Colin Sheridan was never seen again after trying to prove the truth to this legend. This is his story.

Colin, not unlike all other teenage guys, was always ready for a dare or a certain way to prove himself.  After practicing with his band, he and his friends sat down to take a break. They were having some chips and some pop, watching T.V, and just relaxing when one of them spoke up. "Hey guys, anyone up for a little dare?" said Evan, one of the members of the band.

Colin being the one who did all the crazy stuff in the band said yes right away!

"Alright," Evan said, "You're going to go to the graveyard and plunge this dagger into the ground where Ms. Claw was burried 150 years ago to this day."

Evan explained that Ms. Claw was an old lady who always gave a treat to the children of Tracadie who would stop at her house on their way to school. One day a little boy didn't come home from school and the town blamed it on Ms. Claw. They tried to burn her at the stake but the flame wouldn't touch her skin. The town found out she was a witch. Later they hung her. With her last breath, she put a curse on her grave that and child who went to visit her at her grave would never be seen again. The town placed a single giant cross at her grave stained with her blood, a sign that no witch would never be welcome in the little town of Tracadie.

After this Colin liked a little scared but he said he would do it if one other person came with him. So Jeremy, another person in the band, decided he would go. The two set off to the graveyard.

Upon arrival, they could see the giant blood stained cross gleaming in the moonlight. They walked up to the grave and plunged the dagger into the ground. Colin took off running but Jemery couldn't move. Colin, running for his life, found out he was running in the wrong direction! Too late to turn around now he thought and ran deep into the woods.

As hours passed, Evan and the guys got worried, but fell asleep. The next morning they ran to the graveyard to find Jemery wide awake. His eyes were full of terror, and there was a dagger through his baggy pants. They took him to the hospital and he recovered from his shock. As for Colin he was never seen again. Some say he's still trying to find his way out of the deep woods of Tracadie. Others say he just dissappeared. All I know, is that the curse of Ms. Claw still lives on....
