On October 20, 2003, Ms. Barb Kissick presented "PEI Legends and Ghost Stories" to the 8-5 and 8-6 Language Arts classes in the Birchwood Library Resource Center. She told many tales that were set in Prince Edward Island.
Barb Kissick, Children's Librarian at the Charlottetown Public Library has touched the lives of thousands of PEI youth through the magic of books. She is also a well-known storyteller who can be heard on CBC Radio 96.1FM.

"I really liked the story that Ms. Kissick told about the guy on the boat who saw his death before it happened. It was a forerunner," said Nathan.
