A Scarf Dancing in the Wind

A few years ago after a school dance, a couple of friends went to one of their houses for a sleepover.

Kelly, one of the girls, was known to be a bit too easily scared than most. Her best friend Breanne lived by one of the old graveyards that was supposed to be haunted! That just so happened to be the place the girls were staying that night and Kelly wasn't too thrilled about this sleepover.

Later that night the girls started to talk about the ghost that haunts the graveyard across the road. One girl, Olivia, started to tell the story she was told when she was little and it went like this.

"There was a young couple who were married for just one year when the husband murdered his wife on their anniversary. Every year on that day she came back to look for revenge. Their anniversary was supposedly on October 30th, and THAT'S TODAY!" Olivia yelled.

When Olivia was finished Kelly wasn't there any more! So they turned on the lights and looked for her. They found her in the corner covering her eyes. When they finally got her out of the corner, Breanne decided to prove that the ghost wasn't real and that the ghost wasn't going to come back for revenge.

Breanne got her coat and scarf on because it was a really windy night. To prove her points, she was going to go to the graveyard  and she was going to tie her scarf around the tree beside the gravestone of the murdered wife. The girls waited and watched but then finally they fell asleep.

When the girls woke up Breanne still wasn't there. They went and woke her parents up and they went to look for Breanne.

When they got to the gravestone, they looked at the tree. There was Breanne hanging by her scarf two feet off the ground.

Some people think she climbed the tree to reach a higher branch and fell with the scarf around her neck, but the girls knew it was the murdered wife seeking revenge.
