The Night Before Halloween!!

Peter, Jack, Billy, and Arnold were going to go out for Halloween together. This year it was their turn to go to the haunted barn.

It was the night before Halloween and they were talking about the barn. Arnold said that all who entered the barn would die. Jack said that pigs would come out of the walls and bite your head off. Billy said that you have to go up in the loft and knock the hay down so that the ghosts could be freed. Jack said that he wasn't doing either of those things. He was afraid and he chickened out. He said that he wasn't going to the barn at all!

Billy, Arnold, and Peter went out the night before Halloween. They went to the barn and found the ladder to go up to the loft. They were scared at first. Peter encouraged them to keep going. The boys knocked over some of the bales with their forks. While they were working, a huge pile of bales behind them fell. They were terrified and they all died of shock.

The next morning, Halloween Day, the 3 boys were found with forks through their pant legs. Some say they died of fright thinking that the ghosts had caught them all.
