Grade 9 Closing

Closing Ceremonies for grade 9 students is an occasion to congratulate students, recognize their successes and say farewell as they move on to senior high school. Students are expected to have all school program requirements completed before certificates are presented. This includes overdue library books, textbooks, student and band fees. If required, home room teachers will communicate this information to parents/guardians.

Our grade 7 and 8 band students will perform at our closing. A reception organized by Birchwood’s Home & School and volunteer parents will be held in the cafeteria following the ceremonies.

Grade 9 students are to be in the school cafeteria by 6:00 pm....
