Alfred Hermann Fried
Alfred Hermann Fried was born in 1864, in Austria. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1911 for founding the "German League for Peace". Fried was also a journalist, a pacifist writer, and the founder of a newspaper called Die Friedenswarte (The Peace Watch).
