Never Meant To Be
Racism
was never meant to be,
But
people find that so hard to see.
When
will we notice that we're the same
That
life is not some made-up game?
Why
not love instead of hate?
Let's
all try to demonstrate,
A
life involving different kinds
of
skin colors and even minds.
Can't
we make some changes in life,
To
help those who are burdened with strife?
They
are just the same as us,
Why
should they ride at the back of the bus?
Discriminating
may make you feel better,
But
imagine yourself findng a letter,
Saying
that you're wrong cause you're strange,
Saying
that it is you who must change.
Racism
was never meant to be,
But
people find that so hard to see.
When
will we notice that we're the same
That
life is not some made-up game?
