The Effect

There sits a little girl who never did anything to you,
Yet you call her names and make her blue.
She has no one to run to, not one friend,
It seems it would be better if life would just end.

This is the effect bullying has had,
It seems it's time something's said.
Everyone deserves to have a friend,
All forms of bullying have to end.

A young boy sits in the cafeteria alone,
His home seems like it's a war zone.
He's beat by his father who just doesn't care,
It seems nothing in his life is fair.

This the effect bullying has had,
It seems it's time something's said.
Everyone deserves to have a friend,
All forms of bullying have to end.

She's your friend and you know everything about her,
You call her and there's no answer, why, you not sure.
She can't stand it anymore and she's trying to end her life,
She's watching her wrist bleed while she holds the deadly knife.

This is the effect bullying has had,
It seems it's time something's said.
Everyone deserves to have a friend,
All forms of bulying have to end.

You're sitting in class and he sits beside you,
You'll never understand just what he's been through.
He's tortured because the colour of his skin,
No one understands the kind of depression he's in.

This is the effect bullying has had,
It seems it's time something's said.
Everyone deserves to have a friend,
All forms of bullying have to end.

He's the guy people like to joke with at lunch,
You think it's a funny gay joke but to him it's like a punch.
You don't know how those jokes make him feel,
His wounds are the kind that never heal.

This is the effect bullying has had,
It seems it's time something's said.
Everyone deserves to have a friend,
All forms of bullying have to end.
