Student of the Month - May
Katie MacMillan

Katie is a terrific young lady who has contributed a great deal to Bluefield over the past 3 years. Most recently she was a multiple award winner at the Provincial Junior Achievement Awards night and played a major leadership role in the BB4GG JA Company here at Bluefield.

At the same time Katie was instrumental in the successful musical ensemble for the school musical Fame. Katie volunteered to be in to play flute, but when the percussion player quit she took on the task of learning the percussion, and ended up doing a fabulous job.

Katie is also involved in the school band, Step-Up and many other school activities and groups. She is always willing to help her fellow students and get involved in worthy causes. Katie, like the other Students of the Month and many other Bobcats is a terrific example of the young people we have in our school. Congratulations to Katie MacMillan, our Student of the Month for May.

 

 

 

Artist of the Month - May
Jonathan Horrocks

 

The Artist of the Month is Jonathan Horrocks. Jonathan plays percussion in the Grade 10 concert Band. He also plays keyboard in the Jazz Band. Jonathan writes his own music and performed two of his pieces at a Friday Noon Hour Concert. Jonathan was also one of the keyboardist for the musical Fame.

Male Athlete of the Month- May
Tyler MacSween

Tyler MacSween ia a Grade 12 student who plays on the AAA rugby team. Tyler is a co-captain and team leader on his team. He is committed and hard working both on and off the field. Tyler is also actively involved in other in school clubs and activities.

Chelsea Darrach


Chelsea Darrach is a Grade 12 student on the women's softball team. Chelsea is a pitcher and leads the league in strike outs. She is a team leader and is also actively involved in many other in school clubs and activities.
