Student of the Month - October
Shannon Moore

The school administration nominated Shannon as the October Student of the Month for her many contributions to school life so far this year.

Shannon worked hard as part of the student council team to ensure Frosh Week was a success. She was instrumental in the success of the first school dance by volunteering her time with ticket sales, decorating, working the door and other planning details.

At the same time Shannon was making a huge contribution to the Women’s Volleyball team. She plays a large part in their success not only by her own play but by the leadership she shows on and off the court.
Shannon also had success in her academics as well. Her marks so far this year reflect the hard work, determination and commitment needed to be one of the top academic achievers in grade 12.

Congratulations to Shannon Moore, our October Student of the Month.

Artist of the Month - October
Justin MacEwen

Justin is a grade 11 art student and joy to have in class. He loves art and always contributes with pleasant attitude and hard work. Some of his projects this term have been tremendous.  His prehistoric art assignment was one of the best I've seen, and a great example for the class.  He is a great motivator in art class, as he demonstrates the "Artistic Spirit" and enthusiasm every day, and shows that creativity goes far beyond physical and mental limitations. Justin also studies art privately with Jen Brown in Crapaud.
