Emily Ross is an excellent student who excels in her studies. She works hard at all her responsibilities and is a help to her peers. Emily is an excellent athlete and a born leader. Recently, Emily was one of the students who recently attended the National Debating Seminar. Out of close to 100 students, Emily placed 15th. She excelled at both the research and the debates. Congratulations Emily!

Lucas MacPhail |

Artist of the Month is Lucas MacPhail. Lucas plays baritone saxophone in the Grade 12 Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Band. He is an excellent musician who plays with great musical expression. Lucas is also the only Bluefield band student who performs with the UPEI Wind Symphony on alto saxophone. Lucas will be pursuing an under grad degree in Music next year. Well done Lucas!

The Girls' Power lifting team won the provincialchampionship recently hosted at Bluefield. Here are the members of the team:Toni Harper ( GOLD), Ellen Murphy ( GOLD) Provincial record, , Courtney Stewart, ( GOLD), Mikaela Lustic, ( SILVER) Danielle MacKenzie ( GOLD), , Courtney MacLennan, ( SILVER) Carlie Jay, Hillary Gauthier(BRONZE), Rebecca Henderson, Chantal MacLean( BRONZE ). Congratulations girls! Bluefield sent a total of male athletes to represent P.E.I. at the Canada Games. |

Trevor Luttrell played on our basketball team and was also an assistant Coach in a boys Spring League Volleyball team. Trevor is a great example of someone giving back to his community. Well done Trevor!
