Jack is a member of our student council. He spearheaded the school's fall pep rally. He also worked on the OctoberFest Committee. Jack also worked along with Aiden Brine to make an excellent presentation at the Eastern School Board meeting in October about the many exciting activities occurring at Bluefield. Congratulations Jack!

This months Artist of the month is Fallon Mawhinney. Fallon is not only a talented visual artist and member of the art club, she is also a passionate musician and member of this years honor band. She is also an important part of the RAP teams musical performances. Her dedication to creativity can be seen and heard all over our school. Well done Fallon!

Female Athlete of the Month October 2011  |
Mia Clow Mia is a grade 11 Cross Country runner and is being recognized for her Fair play and Sportsmanship. During the unit Cross country meet, Mia finished the course earlier than expected. Having realized her mistake, she passed in her finishing placement ticket, returned to the course to finish the marked distance. Congratulations Mia!

Ryan is a grade 12 Cross Country runner who had a 5th place finish in the Provincial run. This was a very tough field of runners and Ryan achieved his goal of having a top 5 finish. Congratulations Ryan!
