PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Welcome students and parents to a new School Year at Cardigan Consolidated!
This is indeed a year of great change for both Schools as the Dundas students
from Grades 1 to 6 have joined the Cardigan students. The Grade 7 and 8 students
have moved on to Montague Intermediate.
We all share responsibility in making Cardigan Consolidated School an
excellent school in all areas. This requires a committed effort from all the
stakeholders as we all work together towards a quality education in a caring,
safe and responsible atmosphere.
This year, Cardigan Consolidated has a population of 116 students from Grades
one through Six. We encourage each student to reach his/her potential as they
grow as learners.
In addition to the academics offered, our students are very involved in
extra-curricular activities. We run a successful and busy noontime intramural
program.
Our music program is a very active one with choir practice and recorder
practice offered at noontime. Our students participate in many other different
musical activities and functions throughout the School year.
I invite you to get involved in your school and show your child that you are
interested in their education.
On behalf of the staff at Cardigan Consolidated, may you and your children
experience a happy and successful year.
Sincerely,
Noreen Lisi,
Principal
