Personal computers 486 or better are welcomed by schools. Some other equipment and parts are also needed in schools and libraries.

Donated computers are upgraded to go on the network before being distributed. Parts are salvaged from equipment that cannot be repaired. If schools request, software will be pre- installed before the computers are delivered to the school.

Computers can be donated to a particular school or library. These computers are counted as part of the school board or public library share of the total provincial allocation. The repair centre will configure these computers to go on the network, add network cards and provide patch cables.

Federal tax receipts are provided for most donations equipment and parts. These receipts will be arranged by the provincial contact when equipment is donated.
