Lunch Orders: The new system seems to be working well.
Tshirts: A design has been created and Jason has been looking into placing an order. He is considering giving the option of red or blue. Order forms will be going out next week. Tshirts will be $15 and hoodies and long sleeve shirts will also be available.
Surveys: A 3yr cycle of surveys is starting. Students and will be around the first of December. Parents will get more information. Teachers will be doing a survey in November and parents will be doing one in March.

Parent Teacher Interviews: These were well attended.
Playground Gravel: Gravel has been added on the playground to bring it up to standard.
Old Business:
Rezoning: The October Eastern School Board meeting was cancelled. In November the meeting will be held at Montague High and we are encouraged to attend. Martie Murphy from RACE has been trying to get in contact with Patti regarding rezoning.
Playground Fundraising: We’ve had a couple of meetings. We have decided to have a Christmas movie night on November 25th at the school as a fundraiser. We’ll also have beat seats at the Christmas concert again. We are also considering selling tickets on a Christmas dinner in a basket.
Calendar Drive: We sold 306 but had to order 325 because they have to be ordered in multiples of 25. The order has been sent.
Lunch Menu Changes: Subway went over well. The spaghetti was just fair. Patti will check into doing the order in lunch special once a month instead of twice a month.
Semi-Annual Meeting: Danny attended this. The Minister, Deputy Minister and both superintendents were there. The Home and School has a $88,000 budget for this year. Owen Parkhouse is the new president. Accountability was big on the agenda. Topics discussed included: school safety vs. parent involvement, air quality testing in schools, Student Achieve System, consistent board policy for rezoning and equal access to extra curricular activities.
New Business:
Thank you: We received a thank you card from Grade 5 for their cake.
Parent Participation Program: Grade 3 (Andrea Murnaghan) was the winner of the cake.
The next meeting will be held on November 24th at 7pm.
