The following is a list of suggested supplies for each of the students beginning Grade 6 in September. This list is aimed at helping students become organized right at the beginning of the year. Students are asked not to take all of his/her supplies into the school in September.
1. Student planner or notebook/calendar that may be used for keeping track of homework and/or assignments.
2. 5 packages of loose leaf paper that will be used for project work as well as for use in student writing folders. Bring all packages to school on the first day.
3. Lots of pencils, a ruler and white erasers–to be replenished throughout the year.
4. 1 package of 24 pencil crayons and 1 package of 12 markers.
5. Indoor/outdoor footwear, shorts and t-shirt for Phys. Ed.
6. Geometry set (to be left at home until the unit on Geometry is done in class.)
7. 15 duotangs.
8. Graph paper.
9. 2 Glue sticks.
10. Scissors.
11. Pens, binders or liquid paper are not required.
12. A box of Kleenex for the classroom would be greatly appreciated
13. 1 package of 4 tennis balls for the bottom of student’s chair
14. 1 Highlighter
