Forces
A Study of Magnetism and Static Electricity
A part of the grade three science unit Invisible
Forces students explored and investigated the properties of
magnetism and static electricity. Students were engaged in active
learning stations and experimentation which integrated language
arts, math and technology with science knowledge, skills, and
processes. Throughout this site you will find examples of
learning stations, slide show presentations of student work, a
painting activity with accompanying student writing, and a
background information page. Also included is an interactive
activities page consisting of a word search, a jigsaw puzzle, and
online quizzes.
