Grade 1 / 2 students at Dundas Consolidated School began a journey in September 2003. The first science unit of the year was Daily and Seasonal Changes. The students also began an Eric Carle author study in October 2003. Both were exciting units for the students. It became obvious that it would be fun to integrate the author study, the science unit, and art into one fun project. Students did a super job of all parts of the project.
An Eric Carle author study and a science unit, Daily and Seasonal Changes, were the focus of the project. A digital camera, a scanner, the internet, and a word processor were utilized in the development of this website. The purpose of the project is to show ways that curricula can be integrated. Students had fun developing this site and hope you enjoy it.Our journey through the seasons is continuing, and we are patiently waiting for some signs of spring. Grade one and two hope you enjoy SEASONS. Grade one and two hope you visit many times.
