Welcome to our website about The Old Lakeville School. The students researched and conducted interviews with former teachers and students in the Eastern Kings area. They talked about their experiences and shared stories on how they were affected by the One Room School house. After their interviews, the students typed them up in Claris Works, a word processing program.  Some of the pictures that you will see on this website, were re-imaged through using a Scanner & Scanning software. There are a couple of schools collaborating with us, using a program, called Knowledge Forum. This message forum software allows students to share ideas in the form of text, graphics, sound, etc.  We enjoyed gathering the information about the history of this (or any other) old one room school house.  Please visit the above links to see the information that has been gathered by the students and teachers.
