The Elm Street School Choir is comprised of interested students from grades 4, 5 and 6. It is open to all students in these grades and is not an auditioned choir. The choir meets at noon for thirty minutes once a week with extra rehearsals scheduled at appropriate times. There are three major performing events in which the choir participates: the East Prince Family of Schools Annual Christmas Concert, the Elm Street Christmas Concert and the East Prince Music Festival. In June, 2001 , the Elm Street Choir won the Helen Lawson Memorial Junior Choral Award at the Provincial Finals of the P.E.I. Music Festival.
Deborah Voye, our Music teacher, directs the school choir.
