On Tuesday, Sept .18th, our boys and girls soccer teams had their first home games. It was noticed that some members of the boys team walked down to the village before their game. I do not have any problem with this happening, however, I do want to bring it to the attention of the parents.

Home & School Meeting - Change of Date
Due to the elections in the Village of Crapaud on Monday, September 24th, we have decided to move the Home & School meeting to Tuesday, September 25th at 7 p.m. Some topics we will be looking at are The Healthy Eating Program and the new Peanut Free policy in our school.
Is your child worth a few hours a year? That’s all that is required if you join your local Home and School Association.
Home and School is a volunteer, non-profit organization made up of individuals like you and me. Home and School is an advocacy group working on behalf of school-age children provincially and nationally. Curriculum content, class size, school bus safety, drugs and health education - these are just a few of the current ideas being raised with the government. As you can see, the more members Home and School has, the stronger voice it has.
Your child is a reason enough to join the Home and School! Your child is in the school system and this is a great way to get involved in your child’s education. These years only come by once in a lifetime - don’t miss this wonderful opportunity!
You do not have to join a committee, only if you volunteer.
So, come on out to the meeting on Tuesday, September 25th and bring your concerns and suggestions.
Please confirm that you as a parent have received this change of date for the Home and School meeting by signing and returning this letter to your child’s home room teacher.
Thanks and hope to see you on Tuesday, 25th Sept.
Bonnie Ralph
Englewood Home and School Chairperson
