Note Change in Calendar: Originally, there was a Professional Development Day scheduled on November 6, 2009.  This was postponed and has been re-scheduled for Friday, April 9, 2010.  There will be no classes for students on that day.

Skates and Helmets: If any student in Grade 1-3 does not have skates for the school skate scheduled for Friday, January 22nd, please call the office and we will see if we have sizes available.  The school has only 3 extra helmets here, so please don’t assume we will have one for your child on that day - check first.  If you have extra skates or helmets at home and would be willing to make them available to the school, please let us know or drop them off.  Parents are also welcome to come along and skate and/or help tie skates.  Thanks.

Annual Spelling Bee:  The Englewood Annual Spelling Bee will be held on Friday, January 15 at 12:40 p.m.  This year we are having class bees and the top spellers in each class will compete in the gym on Friday.  The winner of the school bee will represent Englewood in Charlottetown later this winter.  Good luck to all participants!
