Breakfast For Learning

| BREAKFAST FOR
LEARNING (BFL) is the leading national non-profit
organization in Canada dedicated solely to supporting child
nutrition programs in every province and territory through
community-based partnerships, financial grants, and nutrition education
resources. Working to ensure every child attend school
well-nourished and ready to learn, BFL PEI has helped to support and
sustain over 50 school-based breakfast and snack programs. |
| BREAKFAST FOR
LEARNING helps serve nutritious meals to over 5000 children on PEI.
These meals are served by a network of more than 500 dedicated and
caring volunteers across the Island. All this happens in over 50
schools in the province. |

With the help of volunteers and community sponsors, BFL helps ensure
that PEI students are attending school well-nourished and read to learn. |
Donations to Breakfast for Learning are welcomed.
Your gift can contribute to the success of an Island child who might
otherwise go hungry. Hungry students are often tired,
disinterested, or hyperactive; making learning difficult.
For as little as 85 cents a day you can provide a child with a
nutritious meal; and a twenty-dollar donation will feed an Island
student
breakfast for a month. Tax receipts will be issued for all
donations of $15 or more;
and gift cards will be provided, on request, for donations made as a
gift on someone's behalf. |
