School Board
| The Board of School Trustees of the Eastern School
District is made up of 11 trustees, representing specific school zones,
who are elected every four years according to provincial statute. Board
members for the Eastern School District for the 2008-2009 school year

| School Board Meetings |
The School Board meets monthly during the school year, generally on the
second Wednesday of each month. Upcoming meetings are advertised
in local media.

Public Participation - Individuals
or groups interested in making a presentation to the School Board must
obtain prior approval in accordance with Board policy. Guidelines are in
place to guide this process.
