GRADES FOUR & FIVE
SUPPLY LIST FOR 2008-2009
Each student in Grade Four or Grade Five is REQUIRED to have the
following supplies to begin the 2008 - 2009 school year.
** Please have the student’s name on each item where possible.
* $5.00 to be brought to school the first day for a common pool of pencils
for everyone PLEASE do this because pencils are always a problem and I
find this works well
* 6 pink erasers (year’s supply - bring 1 on first day)
* 2 pencil cases (cloth zippered not big plastic cases)
~ colored pencils in one
~ scissors, glue, etc. in the other
* colored pencils (Crayola or Laurentian) sharpened and in pencil case
* scissors ~ buy extras to replace lost ones during year
* 2 glue-sticks ~ larger ones will last longer, keep 1 home
* 1 - box of Kleenex
* 2 - 1" binders ~ 1 for first day, labelled French, 1 extra keep home
* 3 - packages of 250 looseleaf (put 25 sheets in each duotang)
* 1 - letter stencil 2-3 cm. high letters (1 inch) The package of 3 sizes is great
* 16 duo-tang covers (with 25
looseleaf sheets in each), put name on each duo-tang and the following
subjects: spelling exercises (red), reading (blue), story writing
(blue), handwriting (black), health (yellow), social studies (green), novel
(blue), science (orange), math (orange), spelling tests (red), drawing
(yellow), and extras (black). The rest please leave home for later
* $6.00 for homework log
* Bring all the above items on the
first day
The following items are necessary for gym:
** Please have the student’s name on each item.
* shorts and T-shirt (to be changed into only at gym time)
* indoor sneakers (no black-soles
as they mark the floor)
