Delay/Cancellation Procedures

If school is delayed one hour, the morning exams will begin at 9:55 a.m. and afternoon exams will start at 1:00 p.m.

If school is cancelled for the whole day, the entire schedule is moved forward by one day.

Attendance

Students are expected to write all examinations when they are scheduled. Students must present themselves within ONE HOUR after the beginning of these exams; otherwise, they will get an incomplete for the subject. Students must remain in the examination room for at least ONE HOUR. If an exam cannot be written, it is the responsibility of the student or parent to notify the school BEFORE the exam begins.

Examination and Testing Regulations

Colonel Gray tries to encourage students to be honest at all times, and steps are taken to try to eliminate the temptation of cheating on exams. The following regulations will prevail for examinations. Students not adhering to these regulations will be considered to have participated in cheating and will receive zero on the exam. The regulations are outlined in the table below: No coats, books, book bags, notes, papers, walkmans, discmans, MP3 players, cell phones and other electronic devices are to be taken into the examination room unless otherwise instructed. Such items can be left in students' lockers during the exam period. Each student is responsible for his or her own deportment. Ensure by the positioning of your paper and your posture that your paper is not visible to those around you. Making information accessible to yourself or others, or having notes on your person or in materials you take into the examination room is a form of cheating. Any obvious attempt at cheating or any activities that appear suspicious will not be tolerated. There will be no communication, verbal or otherwise, with other students once the examination has begun. The examination will be deemed to have begun as soon as the first paper has been passed out.

Note: To obtain a credit in a course, a student must achieve a mark of 50% or more and make a minimum of 35% on the final exam.
