Colorado Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche is an NHL team and they
were around since 1995. They had many good
seasons. Here is some information about their
team!!!

History
They were the Quebec Nordiques from 1972-1995.
The Nordiques changed to the Colorado Avalanche
because they (Nordiques) didn't have enough money
to keep the team (Nordiques). The Nordiques never
won a Stanley Cup until they became the Colorado
Avalanche.

Stanley Cups
In 1996, Colorado beat Vancouver in the first
round. Colorado beat Chicago in the second round.
Colorado beat Detroit in the Conference finals
and then beat Florida in the Stanley Cup finals (four
game sweep). They won the Stanley Cup their first
season in the NHL . In 2000-2001 Colorado beat
Vancouver (again) in the first round. Colorado
beat L.A. in the second round. Colorado beat St.Louis
in the Conference finals and then beat New Jersey
in the Stanley Cup finals.
