The Friendly Ghost

Chapter 1

One day, me, Maryann and Dawn all won a night at a hotel to go to because we . At the hotel that we went to, everyone said that it was haunted, but we didn't believe them. So that's why we picked that hotel to go to because we wanted to see for ourselves if it was really haunted.

So we decided to go to the hotel tonight. When we got there, we went to the front desk to see what room we were in. The person turned around and we asked what room we were in. The person at the front desk said, "You can go in the room with two laptops and a hot tub. That would be room 101."

So when we were looking for room 101, we saw a door opening and closing. We didn't really pay much attention to it because we just thought it was somone going out of the room. We went to see what number the room was because everyone said the haunted room was room 102. So we went over to see what number it was. When we saw the number, everyone said, "OH MY GOSH! It's the haunted room and its right beside our room!!!!!"

We weren't really happy about that! Everyone was scared. Then I said, " Yeah what ever I don't believe in gosts or Monsters or anything like that!"

After all that happened, we all went to our room 101. Later on that night I was on one laptop, Dawn was on the other one, Maryann was in the hot tub, and Jessica was watching T.V. On the laptop, I was talking on MSN Messenger. I was talking to my mom and dad, and was telling them about the door in room 102 opening and closing and telling them about how everyone was really scared and they all thought that it was a ghost haunting the room. Then my mom said, "Jillian, you and all your friends better be really careful because it might be a ghost and if you get it mad it might try to hurt you and your friends.

Then I said, "MOM, there is no such thing as GHOSTS!!!!"

I was really mad because she was the one that kept on tellingme that there was no such thing as Ghost and monsters andall the stuff. Then my mom said to me, "Jillian, I want you to stay away from that room...even if you don't believe in ghosts!"

After she said that, I just signed off really fast. Then Maryann got out off the hot tub. Then I went in it. When I was in it, I was thinking about the haunted room. I said to myself, "Could it really be haunted?? Could the ghost really be true?? No it can't be haunted, because ghosts aren't real. It's probably just rumours just trying to scare people."

Then I got out of the hot tub. After that we all watched a movie and then went to bed. In the morring we heard a knock at our room's door. I went to answer it. It was the person from the front desk, and they said that we could all stay another night. After the person from the front desk left, I called my mom to tell her that we were going to stay another night. She said that we could if we stay away from that haunted room. So I said, "Mom! I don't even believe the people that say it is haunted because it is not true!"

Then, my mom said, "Thank you."

Chapter 2

So, around 7:30 that night me and all of my friends were watching a scary movie. In the movie there was a really scary part and Mary Ann said that she didn't want to stay for that part so me and Maryann went for a walk to the pool. When we got there I said to Maryann, "Do you really think that the hotel is haunted?"

Mary Ann stopped and thought for a minute then she said, "Yes I do believe in ghosts."
After a while, I said, "I think the movie would be over by now."

So as we were walking down the hall the power went off. Then I said, "Mary Ann there's a bit of a problem.... Wait! A huge problem! How are we going to find our hotel room in the dark?"

Then Mary Ann said, "Jillian I don't know and I'm scared of the dark. Pretty, pretty, pretty, please with a cherry on top find our room fast!"

And then I thought of something. "Oh my gosh, Mary Ann guess what?"

And then Mary Ann said, "What?"

Then I said happily, "I have my cell phone in my pocket and I remember Dawn saying that she brought her cell phone to the hotel so we can call her phone and ask her to get us."

Chapter 3

Then after I said that me and Mary Ann hurd someone coming. It was the girl at the front desk. She said, "Hi, my name is Lilly and I'll bring you back to your room if you can't find it."

Then she bought us back to our room. We thanked her a lot. When we me and Maryann got back to our room Dawn and Jessica were really scared because they were watching the scary movie when the power went off. We all went on the laptops because they didn't go off because they didn't plug into the wall. It just runs with a battery. We went on MSN again to tell our parents about the power going out. After we toll our parents me and Dawn decided to go and get some snacks and bring them back to our room to share with Jessica and Mary Ann. Jessica and Mary Ann wanted to come but me and Dawn said that they should stay there in case we get lost again. Dawn gave Mary Ann and Jessica her cell phone so if we get lost we could just call them from my cell phone or if they needed us for anything they could just call. As me and Dawn were walking out of our room we saw the door from room 102 close really fast. So we just thought that it was just a worker cleaning the room or something like that. So we went and got some snacks and on our way back Dawn stopped and said, "Oh my God, look at that room you can see a ghost in it!"

Then we ran back to our room to get the others. When we got there the door was locked so we started to knock on it. Then we could hear Mary Ann and Jessica screaming because they thought we were the ghost of room 102. So they didn't open the door. We called them on my cell phone they wouldn't answer because it showed up blocked number and they thought it was a gost stalking them. Then me and Dawn went and asked Lilly to open our door. When we went to the front desk a new person was there. She said, "Hi! My name is Zoey how can I help you?"

Then we said, "Yes we got locked out of our room will you unlock the door for us please." Then we showed her where our room was and she unlocked our door. We toll Mary Ann and Jessica about the ghost. We all decided that tomorrow as soon as we get up that we were going to go check things out with room 102.

Chapter 4

We got up in the morning and had breakfast. After we had breakfast we went to look at the room. We saw Lilly in the hallway. We said hi to her then she said to us, "Hello. Are you guys looking for the ghost that haunts room 102?" Then we toll her about seeing the ghost last night and we said yes we are looking for the ghost.

Then she said to us "You know how you guys only see the ghost of room 102 at night? Well that's because the ghost only comes out at night. So you'll have to come back at night." We weren't really happy about that because you know how Mary Ann is scared of the dark. Then Mary Ann said that she's going to try to be not so scared of the dark because she really, really wants to see the ghost of room 102.

So as the day went on we all got really excited about seeing the ghost of room 102. When it was about 7:30 we decided to go to the pool in the hotel till about 8:30 then we would go and try to look for the ghost of room 102. After we got in the pool we were talking about that we should take a picture of the ghost and show our parents and friends and show everyone that the room is really haunted.

After we were about to get out of the pool we saw something just going out of the pool room. It looked like a blurry thing, so we followed it. When we were following it through the halls it stopped at room 102. After I saw the ghost I said, "Okay now I do believe in ghosts."

We were going to go in to room 102, but we were still all wet from the pool and we didn't have my camera to take a picture of the ghost so we went back to our room and got changed and got my camera. As we were walking down the hall Mary Ann started to cry.
She said, "Jillian what happens if the ghost tries to hurt us?"

Then I said, "Mary Ann the ghost isn't going to hurt us and even if it does we're going to have our cell phone."

Chapter 5

So we were walking down the hall and we went in to room 102. We saw a blurry thing sitting in a corner. So we went to see what it was. Then Dawn poked it and it turned around. I said to it, "Hello, our names are Mary Ann, Jessica, Dawn and my name is Jillian." Then we noticed the ghost was crying. Jessica said to the ghost, "Why are you crying?"

Then the ghost replied, "I'm crying because everyone thinks I'm going to hurt them and that I'm a bad ghost, but I'm not a bad ghost, I'm a good one and no one wants to be my friend."

Then me and Dawn said, "We will be your friend if you stop haunting the hotel."
Then the ghost stopped crying and said to us "Really? Thanks. My name is Connie the ghost wait change that to the friendly ghost."

So the ghost came back to our room with us and helped us pack to go home. Then Connie the friendly ghost said, "Wait! Don't go yet. Will you bring me with you? Please."

Then Mary Ann said to Connie, "We would if we could but we can't because if our moms see you she won't let us keep you." Connie said "Well grown ups can't see ghost." Then we all decided to bring Connie home and we would take turns who's house it would stay at each night. The first night it would go to Dawn's house, then my house, then Jessicas house and then it would stay at Maryann's house. Connie would kinda be like a imaginary friend.
Then when she was at my house Connie said to me, "Jillian, I really like it here at your house but I miss my family at the hotel.

Then I brought Connie back to the hotel. She introduced me to her family she said, "This is my dad Connor, this is my mom Karen and this is my sister Corina."

Then I stayed and talked for a little. After that I had to go home. I promised that I would come and visit them some other time. Then I came home and called Dawn, Mary Ann and Jessica about the ghost and we all said that we would go and visit Connie sometime. Everyday we went and visit her and her family. Until one day, Connie and her family moved to a different hotel. We still wrote notes back and forth with each other.
