This past fall we were excited to be a part of the Ford Drive One for Your School program. It was very exciting to be presented with a $6000 cheque from Ford. Thank you to all for your support!!
The Grade 8 Immersion students brought a GREAT contest to Mme Kim's attention in October. It involved creating a video telling the story of Lucy Maud Montgomery's inspiration for Anne. The video is now posted on the Parks Canada Website where it will be open to a public vote beginning February 1st. If their video makes it to the top 10 based on votes, they have a chance to win a 4-day stay in Banff National Park!
Let's get this video out there to everyone we know so that Gulf Shore can win this wonderful prize.
Note to both students and parents: The school Heritage Fair will be held on April 12th. Students from grades 4-9 will be participating at the school level. Click here to find the required information on the Provincial Heritage Fair site.
