Jean Charles Champais
Before Jean Charles Champais was a father of Confederation he was a conservative.During the conference he was a commisioner of Public Works.
His occupation before he became a conservative was a merchent. Jean Charles Champais was born in 1811 and died in 1885.

George Etienne Cartier
George-Etienne Cartier was born in lower canada ,september 6th,1814 to a rich family of millers and grain exporters and could of very well be a late descendant of the great explorer jaques cartier.
Georges etienne got his education at sulpician college of montreal. In,l835 Georges Etienne Cartier took a seat on the assembly of lower canada and as a result became friends with louis joseph papineau and took part in the rebellion of 1837, as punishment ,he was exiled from canada but only to return a few years later.
From 1857-62, Cartier served alongside john A macdonald as co-prermier, and during his second year in the office he started pushing towards confederation.
Other accomplishments include;throgh his work Cartier ensured Ottawa as the national capital, aided the completion of the Canadian pacific and grand trunk railways and served as prime minister during John a Macdonald's illness.

Thomas D'arcy Mcgee
D'arcy Mcgee was born in Ireland on April 13 1825. He was know for being an extremly talented speaker. He was called the most gifted speaker ever to sit in Canada's Parliment.
Mcgee was elected to the Legislative Assembly in the province of Canada, he was, the president of the council from 1862-1863 ans minister of Agriculture from 1864 until confederation and was also a part of the great coalition govermenet with Jonh A Macdonald and George Étienne Cartier.
Thomas D'arcy Mcgee was assinated by the Radical fenian P..J Whelan for denouncing the Fenians violent ways.

Hector Langevin
Lagevin was a post master general in 1866-87. In 1861-63 he was the head of St.Jean Baptiste society in 1863 he was the leader of Institute Canadian.
Alexander Galt
Alexander Galt was born in England origionlly but moved to Canada and became part of the Governement as a Legislative Assembly Member. Until he met john A Macdonald he then joing him as the Province of Canada's Personal Finance minister. Which brings us to his part in the Charlottetown Conference. Alexander T Galt was in charge of explaining the financial Arrangements of Confederation such as the financial standings and the depts that the different Colonies have that night need to be paid off.
After Confederation was agreed on Alexander t Galt became Canda's first Federal Finance Minister.
