Here is a collection of links that you can follow if you want to learn how to make your very own web page.
First off, I would like to say that if you want to make a web page, there's no easy fix. In order to make a half decent web site, you
must at
least learn HTML. It may take a while, but it's worth it.
HTML Goodies
This site has every tutorial you could possibly want for starting off. It has a beginner "primer", and a JavaScript "primer", and a lot of other ones you can look at after you've learned the basics.
Proffessional Web Design
This is not a company, as much as the name might seem like it. This is the place where I started off, and it has a basic, frames, table, and form tutorial, so it's a good starting point.
There are also a lot of links on it too.
TheScripts.comExcellent place to learn any kind of scripting language, including MySQL, PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, and many more!
Those two sites should supply all the information you could want, but beleive me, there are many more sites out there.
Here are a couple of choice web servers, where you'll have to sign up for a place to put your site.
Tripod
This has to be the easiest server to use, but it's not always that fast, but they do offer a fair bit of free services to help your web site
Freedom 2 Surf
This is an extremely good web server for the more experienced people. They don't offer too much in the way of customer service, but they do give you a bulletin board that you can discuss your problems with other people on. They also support PHP3 and PostreSQL, with NO ADDS!!!
