How To Embalm a Mummy

When embalmers were to mummify a body it would take up to 70 days to do and it is very expensive. Here are the steps to mummification;
First: The body was washed and ritually purified.
Second: The embalmers removed all inner organs,so bacteria doesn't decay tissues.
Third: The embalmers kept four different organs. They were the intestines, stomach, lungs and liver.
Fourth: Embalmers put these organs in canopic jars and are wrapped with linen strips.
Fifth: The body is stuffed with natron and sometimes with sawdust.
Sixth: The embalmers remove the brain. In that time brains weren't very important. after it's removal it was most likely thrown out.
Seventh: Embalmers place the deceased body on a slanted table and is completely covered with natron, which allows fluids to drip out of the body. This process takes up to 40 days.
Eighth: Embalmers put bandages all over the body.
Ninth: Fingers and toes were individually wrapped with natron and a protective gold cap is put on.
