Student support is varied based on individual needs and the Continuum of Special Needs and Supports outlined by the ESD. The Resource program can provide assessment, consultation and/or direct service to students who may be experiencing difficulty with grade level programming. Referrals are made by classroom teachers to our Resource program through our School Student Services Team.
One aspect of the resource program is diagnostic testing to determine skills relative to individual strengths and challenges. The Resource teachers collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists and outside agencies to enrich, adapt and modify programs to meet the individual needs of students. Resource programs are designed to improve the development of skills for each child in the program.
