Address Book

The main Groupwise Address book contains the e-mail addresses of students at the high school level from across Prince Edward Island. This address book may be searched by school and/or by user name. Students can create their own personal address books that may include both Groupwise and non-Groupwise users. In some cases, the user may want to send the same e-mail contents to a number of recipients such as information for members of a sports team, the school band or yearbook committee. In these circumstances a "group" or "distribution list" would be created and stored in the address book. By selecting the "group" and entering it in the TO: field of the e-mail all members of that group would automatically receive the message.
