Activity

In the grade 5 curriculum, weather is a topic that is studied in both Language Arts and Science. The focus of the science unit on weather is on data collection and predicting. The weather component of the Language Arts theme Collections: Weather, Wings, and Kite Strings focuses on the changes of the seasons and the conditions of the sky. This lesson gives teachers some suggestions of activities and Internet resources that can be used with students for these weather themes.
