Getting Started with AppleWorks Database
At the main menu of AppleWorks click on Database and then OK to begin a
new database. If you wish to open a database that you saved previously,
you can instead, click on Cancel and then File->Open and select your file.
This manual is divided into three main sections. A very short first section
introduces the Database Environment, a second lengthier section instructs
users how to Use a Prepared Database and a third section takes users
through the process of Creating a Database from scratch. For the
first two sections, this manual will refer to a database about dinosaurs
and all examples used will refer to this database.
