any loss or damage will result in payment for the book.

Materials needed for every class:
1. Three ring binder - for math work and handouts
2. Pen or pencil
3. Text
4. Calculator
You must bring a protractor and ruler for geometry and measurement unit
Evaluation:
During each term your mark will be calculated as follows:
35% tests
50% Assignments/projects - ( There will be bi-weekly assignments)
15% class marks and homework checks. There will be homework most nights
and it is mandatory for you to do this homework in order to do well in this course.
There will be a final exam including material covered throughout the whole year.
Assignments:
Assignments not passed in on the due date will not be accepted.
Assignments passed in later in the day on the due date will be docked 20%, as is
the school policy.
Missed tests must be rescheduled with the teacher as soon as student returns.
