Description

This project is about electricity that comes from many sources, but the source that I am doing is on Hydro electricity. Hydro electricity is made by water falling in large masses, or rising and falling of the tides through lunar (solar) gravitation.

The Production of Power from HYDRO Energy
Step One: The water comes down from water fall
Step Two: Then it goes through dam into turbine
Step Three: Then the turbine spins by the magnet inside of coil of wire which powers generator
Step Four: Finally the generators electricity flows through power lines to your home

Advantages of HYDRO Power

Disadvantages of HYDRO Power

  • use over and over
  • expensive
  • never run out
  • hard to find place to build
  • earth friendly
  • kills fish
  • flood control
  • takes long time to build
  • Places that have Hydro Dams in Canada are in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
