The Agriculture Certificate program is a pilot program
incorporating agriculture into the regular high school
curriculum. The Agriculture
Certificate is a three year program which students complete during their grade
10, 11 and 12 years. Students enrolled will complete the regular high school
curriculum with a "specialization" in agriculture. The Agriculture
Certificate recognizes skills achieved by a student who trains in the
agriculture industry through both an in-school component and a work component.
Currently, two Prince Edward Island high schools implement the
program, Kensington
Intermediate Senior High and Kinkora
Regional High School.
