TO ALL BAND PARENTS

I’m sure that most of you are aware of how the fundraising/credit system for the KISH Band works and for those of you who don’t I would point you in the direction of our treasurer. The reason for this note is just to apprise you of the various fund raising activities that will be occurring for the rest of the 2009/2010 school year.

** Discontinuation/replacement of this fundraiser is under consideration

It is imperative that you, as parents, make note of these dates. Check with your children as to whether or not they plan to participate in these events as well as ensure that the students are aware of any plans that may prevent them from fulfilling their commitments as far in advance as possible of the event. It makes it very hard to run successful events if we can’t depend on everyone to honor the commitments made. When we experience students showing up late, not showing up or backing out at the last minute etc it makes it very difficult to have these events run smoothly. So, from those of us who put our time and hard work into arranging these events and trying to ensure that they run smoothly, we would greatly appreciate everyone’s co-operation in this regard.
