As students explored various aspects of the diversity of life on Prince Edward Island, they utilized a variety of technologies. Students used Inspiration to brainstorm their topic, Knowledge Forum to build their knowledge together, and work with mentors from UPEI, AppleWorks to create original graphics, Internet to access resources, PaintShop Pro to edit graphics, scanner, and digital camera. Some utilized Frontpage to create a webpage, which includes a crossword puzzple, while others used AppleWorks to generate a slideshow. Here's samples of their integrated technology projects:
