Here's some of our learning log responses about our Habitats projects and using Knowledge Forum:

Kaitlin:

Knowledge Forum is a good place to talk to people. People makes notes to each other and people can go in and question their notes and answer each other. When you read somebody's note it turns red and when it hasn't been read it is blue. I really liked it, it is a fun place to go into. Everyone in our class had fun and we learned a lot about Knowledge Forum and Habitats. We gave a big thank you to our library teacher, Mrs. Tumblin. In doing deserts I got a lot of information from a UPEI student, her name was Jillian Shea. She told me that you can get a lot of information on the Discovery Channel. I learned there is all kinds of deserts in the world, and there are all kinds of animals there, like camels, gilla monsters and iguanas. Most plants in the desert can survive because they like it hot.

Emily:

Knowledge Forum is fun, you can learn a lot of stuff from it. Like how to use the program to build on to the note if someone gave you one. Also you can learn how to give notes to someone.

Melanie:

My habitat was seas and oceans. I learned that there are more than 7 seas in the world. I had a lot of fun learning about them. Knowledge Forum was great, it was fun making notes. I also had fun building on to other people's notes.

Cassie:

What I learned in habitats was that every habitat had something in common. For example, each one had animals, even tundra, which surprised me a lot. But the thing I liked the most was working together in our groups.

Stacey:

I like habitats because I like to do stuff like projects. I learned that work can sometimes be fun!
